Since March 2020 Mint Green Environments has been specialising as an Independent Landcare Contractor Business within the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula (based in Victor Harbor, South Australia). Whilst Mint Green Environments specialises in sites that are located on the Fleurieu Peninsula (and the Adelaide Hills), we are able to deploy our teams across the state, including regional areas such as the Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and the South East.
With our capacity to identify species accurately, our safe work ethic and by using a combination of hand work, frilling, drill and fill and spraying we are able to provide professional low impact AQF3 Chemical Accredited environmental services including;
ALL FORMS OF BUSHCARE
- Weed and Feral Species Management
- Woody Weed Treatment and Removal
- Herbaceous Weeds and Feral Grass Control
ASSET PROTECTION FUEL REDUCTION
- Professional Brush Cutting, Slashing and Dead-fall Removal from fire break areas and heavily fueled bushland adjoining parks and housing.
- Providing a precise, neat and efficient service with emphasis on protecting native plants and grasses.
REVEGETATION PROJECTS
From planning and site preparations to planting and ongoing project monitoring such as Watering, Plant Infill, Guard Maintenance and Spot Spray Weed Control.
ROADSIDE & TRAIL MANAGEMENT SERVICE
A regularly patrolled total Bushcare and Weed Control Service for Road Verges, Cycling and Walking Trails.
GPS RECORDS & MAPPING
GPS Points and Track Records will be taken on each contract.
Maps will be created and submitted on the completion of each project; detailing Locations, the Species Treated, Areas Covered and any New Observations.
CERTIFICATION AND INSURANCE
All of our projects are covered by our Landcare Public Liability Insurance policy and all spray work and all field chemical use will be applied within the legislated Chemical Certificate guidelines required to complete our contract safely and successfully.
For most contracts we supply a 2 person crew, however we have the capacity to supply ongoing teams of up to 4 members. All of our team members are equally qualified contractors and as such we are able to complete larger projects where required.
With an eye to detail, the sites we enjoy working on the most are environmentally sensitive (containing rare or endangered natives), whilst also dealing with Emerging Weeds and/or Weeds of National Significance.
